Who I Am In Christ Jesus

I am a man after God’s own heart. I love what God loves and hate what God hates. My manhood is not characterized by this world, nor by my experiences. I have a name, but God has given me a new name. He calls me blessed. I have a destiny. The Lord knows the plans that He has for me, and they are good, and perfect, and there is an expected end for me. My path is ordained by God and I humble myself to follow Him. I know who I am in Christ. I am a man but I am a child of the Most High God. I am the head and not the tail. I am above every situation and not beneath. I am a gate keeper of my eyes, ears, and mouth. For I know and understand this is necessary for the keeping of my soul. With my eyes I see from a far off, as the Spirit of God reveals. With my ears, I hear the voice of God and no other voices shall I follow. With my mouth, I only speak words of life, that will build up and edify not to hurt, destroy, break, nor tare down. I am a man, I am strong but not by my might. I am a man in authority, yet I’m, under authority. I do not think of myself more than I ought to – I know whom I serve and why. I am bought with a price, I am not my own, and I am okay with that!

Leading A Purpose Filled Life

My life and my actions are God filled and God lead every day and every night. I give up my flesh and I die to it for this cause. I am a believer – not a doubter. I am a winner – not a quitter. I have a spirit of completion in me. I have a spirit of stick-to-it-tiveness in me. I have a sound mind of Christ. My mind is renewed by the Word of God daily. I am a hearer and a doer of the Word of God. The Word of God is a Lamp unto my feet and a light to my path. I give up all pride and acknowledge God in all my ways, and allow Him to lead, guide, and direct my path. There is no fear in me, yet I’m not prideful or afraid to seek help or sound counsel. I am a man of God and I understand the debts of what that mean. I am a man of integrity, honor, value, and standard. I raise the bar. There is no dark pride in me. I willfully release everything that tries to bind me in grave clothes – I take the grave clothes off. As of tonight, I forgive the unforgivable, I let go of past grudges. I release people from captivity of my own heart. I release those that has hurt me, offended me, used me and stepped on me. As I do this, I commit myself to the new man God has called me too. I humble myself, turn from my wicked ways, seek God’s face, and allow the Spirit of God to be bigger than I.

God Is Honored In My Family

As a husband and head of my household, I willfully choose to love my wife, as Christ loves the church. My understanding is enlightened to that fact. For I have found my wife, and I found her to a good thing in my life. I dwell with my wife with understanding. I am not one person alone – I am one with my wife. I see my wife through the eyes of Christ. I regard her as His daughter and one accord is my aim. I am the husband that she needs me to be. Love her through me Oh God. As for my children, I do not provoke my children to wrath. I recognize my children as my seed and a gift from God. Through Christ, I am the father that they need me to be. I prioritize myself as the Godhead being the head of my life. I am in authority – the spirit of god is upon me, and I love it!!!
